Country Line Dance:

This dance is usually performed as a "mixer" dance. It can also be done as a couples dance by coming back to your partner on last four counts of dance
.

Pairs around the room, progressing counter-clockwise.
Man stands on inside, woman on outside.
Couples face each other.
Man's left hand holds woman's right hand.
Man's right hand holds woman's left hand.
Gaze into each other's eyes.

4 counts line of dance

Man:

left to side, right together, left to side, right touch beside left
Lady:
right to side, left together, right to side, left touch beside right

4 counts reverse line of dance
Man:

right to side, left together, right to side, left touch beside right
Lady:
left to side, right together, left to side, right touch beside left

4 counts line of dance
Man:

left to side, right together, left to side, right touch beside left
Lady:
full turn to right, starting in front of partner, step while turning, right, left, right, left touch beside right

4 counts reverse line of dance
Man:

right to side, left together, right to side, left touch beside right
Lady:
full turn to left, staying in front of partner, step while turning, left, right, left, right touch beside left

4 counts line of dance
Man:

left step forward, right chug, right step forward, left touches lady's right
Lady:
right step forward, left chug, left step forward, right touches man's left

4 counts line of dance
Man:

left step forward, right chug, right step forward, left touches lady's right
Lady:
right step forward, left chug, left step forward, right touches man's left

4 counts line of dance
drop hands as you move away from partner

Man:
left to side, right step behind left, left to side, right kick
Lady:
right to side, left step behind right, right to side, left kick

4 counts line of dance
Man:

move ahead to next partner, stepping right, left step behind right, step right, touch left foot next to right
Lady:
left to side, right step behind left, left to side, touch right foot next to left

As you come back together, return to closed position and continue with new partner.
