Musical Chairs Charades
|Just as with musical chairs, line them up, but with fewer chairs than children.
When the music starts the children walk slowly round them, and when it stops they all try to sit down.
The one left with no chair has to then put their hand into a hat or bowl and pull out a piece of paper.
On the piece of paper is the name or picture of an animal.
The child then has to silently act out the animal for the rest of the children.
The one who guesses correctly gets a sweet.
Carry on, removing one chair at a time, until the mimes have all gone.
